♡ SHO-BI Decorative Eyelash Play Sexy #1 ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

Oh look, more eyelashes to review! I (literally) have about 30+ different designed eyelashes and I love each and every one of them because they all help to create different effect with whatever style of make-up I'm aiming for and these particular eyelashes are no exception. These lashes I purchased from Japan Gift Bay so this review is 100% honest and not driven by sponsorship!
First things first, you'll notice from the above picture is that there are three styles of clump lashes rolled into one big lash to give a different outcome throughout your eye style. The smaller inner lashes are to stop poking that extremely sensitive part of your inner eye - trust me I've been there where the length of eyelash stays the same and it was not pretty for my poor inner eyes! The next section gives a little bit of flare as it then builds up into a whoosh on long, pretty lashes to create a sexy kind of cat eye effect. The end result kind of reminds me of certain Diamond Lashes styles but it still has its own uniqueness involved. Also, I love how you can't really tell that there are three different style clumps in the end result.
The second thing I always talk about, and if you all remember, is that I always struggle with getting the lashes out of the packaging right? Well, this particular brand has the lashes attached to the packaging in three places; the inner corner end, the middle and the outer corner end. Simple right? It was super easy to slide off and not make any clump lash go in an awkward direction from pulling it too much as it was tacked down but not tacked down hard enough to make it difficult, if that makes sense at all?
Finally, as I have deep set eyes (and I mean really deep set and hooded) and thus this (sometimes) makes it hard to find the right style of eyelash that doesn't overpower my eye make-up and conceal it so it just looks like I'm wearing eyeliner with weird eyelashes. BUT, the great thing about these particular eyelashes that you can still see each individual clump of lashes as well as my eyeshadow and eyeliner... personally that is an ultimate win for me. Also, another bonus was that I didn't have to trim the inner corner lashes as, sometimes, when I get new lashes I have to trim the corners as they'll poke my eyes after a few hours of wear but these ones, nope didn't have to trim nor did they irritate my inner corners either. They are super lightweight as well and, using Dollywink eyelash glue, they stayed in place until I took my make-up off around 6 hours later with no little lash flicks at the end  - where the glue comes off so you have a wobbly lash band.

Pictures taken on Samsung digital camera;

Pros;
↑↑ extremely flexible
↑↑ easy to remove from packaging
↑↑ decent pricing
↑↑ gorgeous style
↑↑ can easily reuse one pair of lashes more than once if cleaned correctly
↑↑ brand comes in other styles and colours

Cons;
↑↑ errr.... oops no cons for this one!!

Overall Verdict; ★
It's sad but I literally cannot find a fault with these particular lashes... if I find one I will edit this post and put it in! Oh, in the beginning of this post I wrote that I purchased these lashes from Japan Gift Bay and they are $16 on there (£9.95) which seems to be the average price for lashes and as you get five pairs for the price... can't really complain? Normally with lashes, I tend to move onto different styles once I've used them up but this particular style, I think I'll stick with for a little while longer and will certainly repurchase once I need to.

♡ Etude House Color Fit Lips in 'Magical Fit Pink' ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

A small note; it's so hard as a person used to writing British English and not American English, to write "color" instead of "colour" in the title and tags of this post but that is what the product is called... so damn you Etude House *cries* So finally! An actual review of something that doesn't involve me stressing about how I look in pictures slash a cleanser or face wash style review! I intended to review a couple of colours from the range but decided on just the one for now... maybe in the future I'll do the others?
Product info; this is a revolutionary liquid type lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid colour and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture. Directions: 1. Shake well before use, 2. Apply smoothly with tip. Lightly dab onto centre of lips for gradation. Delicately apply for full cover, 3. Apply a layer of Color Lips - fit WH901 after color for a moist gloss
I like this product. It kind of reminds me of MUA's Velvet Luxe liquid lipsticks - a.k.a a cheap dupe of Lime Crime's Velvetine's - as the product goes on wet and dries to get a matte finish. A couple of problems though; one being that if you have extremely dry/chapped lips, this product will show that and it's frustrating but if you wear a lip balm underneath it doesn't make the lines as prominent. The second problem is the lasting wear and even though I could drink/eat for a while before the colour smudged off, it just left an extremely horrible outline of colour that was very embarrassing... luckily it is easy to top up though.
I don't know why I was drawn to this particular colour more than the darker pinks my usual chosen colours from that colour range, but I'm a bit torn about it on my skin tone. On the plus side, it is a bright slash pale Barbie kind of pink that is good for a change of pace yet on the con side, because I am rather pale in the tone chart, I feel that maybe it is just a bit too.... OTT? Eh, maybe it'll grow on me in the future. Another thing I liked about this product, and something I tend not to talk about a lot during lip product reviews, is the packaging. I like it, a lot. Quite a few reviews that I have seen about the 'Color Fit Lips' seem not to like the packaging because, it comes across that it's not cutesy like their usual style. I can understand that but I like this whole new take of trying something new and the sleekness of the tubing just means that there is less fiddling and it is pretty sturdy as well so less breaking also.
Pros;
↑↑ a pretty decent wearing if you don't eat/drink a lot during
↑↑ dries matte
↑↑ sweet scent
↑↑ bold colours
↑↑ easy application
↑↑ interesting and different outer packaging

Cons;
↑↑ very powdery
↑↑ can expose cracks in lips if they are bad (not so much with lip balm underneath)

Overall Verdict; ★
Who can notice the blusher on my cheeks in the above pictures now?! That aside, I do like this product and I need to wear it more often. The other colours appeal to me also (I have the red, two shades of orange and a beige colour) and it's definitely a line I would use again. Honestly, even though the formula (probably) is a close dupe of Lime Crime's Velvetine's it is definitely in the "saving you a pretty penny" category! And I must admit, the only reason I marked this product down a star is because of powdery effect it leaves once dried completely and the fact it shows obvious crack in dry lips... but luckily when wearing lip balm underneath it doesn't show as much and doesn't effect the matte outcome.

♡ MEMEbox Princess Edition #1 Snow White // Unboxing ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

This is my first ever Memebox and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised. After months of seeing some of my favourite beauty bloggers post their boxes - some with amazing products whilst others being a little naff, but you can't always have something great - I thought it was finally time to dive in and get something and the Princess Edition boxes were a great way to start.
I only could get the one box at the time but I think I made the best choice out of the three. The first being Snow White - it's based around skincare / whitening products, the second box was Sleeping Beauty - this one being sleeping packs and other pieces and the third box was Rapunzel - hair products mainly. I like that they give a mixture of body and face products so you're not just stuck with a particular product based on a certain part of your body... But for now, onto the goodies from this particular box;

#1 Nella Fantasia One Day Whitener

Product description; this is a magically whitening body lotion that instantly moisturises and brightens up dry, coarse, and darkened skin tone for a lasting glow all day long. It's also non-sticky and strong against water and sweat.
First impressions; ok so I have (of course) heard of whitening products for you face but, a whitening product for your body?! Somehow, a part of me is surprised yet another part of me isn't as the Koreans seem to have pretty much every thing made cosmetic/beauty/skin care wise for every part of the human body... this will definitely be an interesting product to try to see if it does work. I think that if I do use this, I'll be using it on my neck slash collarbone slash shoulders slash arms region more than my whole body as those are the only part of my actual body - besides my face obviously - that have been on show for the general public to view the most.

#2 original raw First Essence (Vitamin Essence)

Product description; both the Red Essence and the Vitamin Essence are combinations of a skin toner, an essence, and a lotion all in one. Also, they're both enriched with various vitamin nutrients and dragon's blood extract from the dragon tree and work to instantly rejuvenate and brighten up the damaged or sagging skin.
First impressions; as I am not 100% sure what the Red Essence or the Vitamin Essence actually have difference wise... I'm pretty happy with getting the vitamin version. Even though in the description, it says that this product is a lotion it's more like an oil based cleanser instead and I am totally down for that as I have been into using oil cleansers more recently as they are super beneficial for my skin. I'm definitely going to do some more digging around to see the differences between each essence and see if it's worth getting the red essence as well in the near future.

#3 FACEFLUX Anti-Wrinkle Revitalizing Cream

Product description; enriched with ceramide, hyaluronic acid, lemon verbena extracts, shea butter and portulaca extracts, the Anti-Wrinkle Revitalizing Cream works to brighten up dulled complexion, to relieve stimulate or sensitive skin, and to treat signs of fine lines and wrinkles for a younger and healthier-looking complexion overall.
First impressions; wrinkle cream............. I'm not even 25 yet and I've got wrinkle cream. Well, I can either get ahead of the game and use it or I might just go and give it to my mam to use instead, I'm sure she'll be happy to have a new wrinkle cream to use!

#4 Daltokki Whitening Essence

Product description; all you need is a single drop of Daltokki's Whitening Essence mixed with a facial cream for a whitening and moisturising effect, with a sunblock for creating the naturally brightened skin tone, and with a BB cream or foundation for creating the fully covered and perfectly toned up complexion.
First impressions; taking away the whole creepy little rabbit... man... thing on the bottle, this product is the one I was to use the most. The fact that it has multiple uses and you only need a drop or two each is something that I like because it means that you're not wasting a product so quickly for one effect. I'll definitely try this out with the options listed in the product description to see what pans out with it.

#5 Ipsennature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub

Product description; made from apple water, apricot, raspberry, walnut, rice, and corn seed powders, this Brightening Scrub is a cleansing scrub which works to gentle peel away all dead skin cells and skin impurities and deliver skin replenishing and brightening effects all in one!
First impressions; I guess you can never have too many facial scrubs in your skin care routine! It's lucky that I've recently run out of my favourite facial scrub and was about to purchase a new pot but I might as well put it off and use this one instead.

#6 Morningtree Revitalizing Whitening Deep Spot

Product description; excessive melanic pigmentation is responsible for darkened spots over your body - face, hands, arm pits, busts, elbows, knees, heels, and even the Y-zone. This high concentrate, gel-type essence will soothe,, cool, brighten, and repair such dry and darkned spots, and its suitable for all skin types and for both men and women.
First impressions; interesting. Most roller face products I have seen tend to be used for around the eye area and use only one roller per tube, the fact this one has three small rollers must mean that the product will be distributed easily and less pulling of the skin? I have no clue really but I'm interested that's for certain!

All in all, I love all the products I received in this beauty box (yes, even the wrinkle cream!) and I honestly now believe that Memebox is amazing value for your money. I have to admit, the biggest surprise of this box was the fact that every product was full sized. I know that you can get a mixture of full size and sample products but to pay $30 (plus shipping) and receive six full size products worth well over the $100 margin is just... wow, it is definitely worth the money. I even went ahead and purchased a few more boxes when they came out - I won't reveal which ones until I receive them!

♡ The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Pastel Cushion Blush in Rose ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

I must confess, I'm not normally a blush kind of girl but recently I've been going on a blush hyper slash search to create 'dolly' style make-up looks? I've only had one blush in my life previously (a Benefit blush in a coral/peach kind of colour...) so I was a little nervous to go with a very 'pink' colour but I'm really glad that I did in the end.
This particular line of blush comes in five different shades; Rose, Coral, Plum, Pink and Peach. Also, I've noticed that is a past blush but has been re-vamped with a new outer box which, personally, I prefer! The whole package is very lightweight in general but it manages to stay in shape despite being in my make-up pouch in my handbag!
Promotional picture slash colour schemes
Description: A cute powder blush that gives a cute & lovely doll like impression. With a soft & light touch, you can have young looking face. Its porous sponge keeps your face moisturised without oil.

This blush is extremely sheer. I had to apply quite a few layers before I felt happy with what I was aiming for but it is definitely a plus to have such a sheer blush. I'm glad that I can make the decision of a really light application or a really strong application and have the in-between stages without feeling like that I'm dressing up like a clown at a children's party. I must admit that I am slightly gutted that the amazing colour didn't show up as well in the pictures and I feel that they won't give the blush enough justice to how it actually was in person! This first picture is only of one side of my face to show the colour close up on the apples of my cheeks (and to see if it does actually show up on the picture...)

The next two pictures are... well they are pretty self explanatory with the close up and the wide shot so I won't explain too much here;

OK, I can see a little bit of the colour in the last two photographs but can you? It has given me a 'healthy' appealing look, but it's not an overpower of colour on my cheeks and I enjoy that because, remember, I am not a blush person but I have been swayed indeed.

Pros;
↑↑ very soft, silky powder which makes it easy to 'puff' on my cheeks
↑↑pretty scent
↑↑ build up of colour
↑↑cute packaging and handy puff ball included

Cons;
↑↑ needs more colour ranges

Overall Verdict; ★
Honestly this little blush is perfect for me. It feels strange to admit it but from the fact that it's sturdy enough to survive my handbag to the build up of colour, I feel like I have found the blush for me. It's a super steal as well - ranging from $5 to $8 on various websites - and I love the few colours they have so far, but I definitely want to see a few more shades in the near future!!
