♡ MUA Matte Lipstick in Nude ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

I managed to get my hands on the entire matte lipstick collection by MUA, well at only £1 per lipstick how could you not purchase the entire collection in one go? I am such a massive fan of MUA lipsticks as I have a previous record with only a couple of the colours... but they were such wonderful colours and withstood all the elements you throw at them just like any lipstick would try and do. So I have a lot of anticipation with this particular collection as I have, well are I always, been in the market for a decent matte lipstick and I sadly haven't had a chance to wear all of the colours yet, I'll only be reviewing one of them today.

I've always had problems with nude lipsticks, some of the nudes I've had before just didn't match my skin tone so instead of looking nude I just had brown lips and other problems have been that the nudes didn't last long or they were too expensive so I pretty much almost gave up. With MUA's nude lipstick, it actually feels that the colour was made to match any shade of skin tone including my own! All of the colours do appear more vibrant in person than they do in pictures as well as on your lips... more like a stain effect rather than an actual lipstick?

This colour is most definitely my favourite one compared to the others because it just works so well with a natural daytime look... I'd love to try it with a dramatic night time look one day and see if it's versatile in that area also.

Pros
↑↑ Long lasting wear
↑↑ Cheap as chips so amazing on your purse strings
↑↑ Works just as well as other known branded lipsticks
↑↑ Nice vanilla scent

Cons
↑↑ The packaging just doesn't do it for me... the other MUA lipsticks are in a nice sleek, black tube whilst the matte range are in white... ehhh just not my taste
↑↑ Having to use a lip concealer underneath because of my pigmented lips

Overall Verdict: ★★★★★
I was certainly pleasantly surprised overall by this range by MUA and I'm looking forward to their velvet range they're bringing out at the beginning of November and because I've had a good all around with them it doesn't surprise me that I'm going to definitely get them before my move abroad... MUA is my go to make-up range which I'm going to be stocking up on for the next couple of months!

♡ Disney Romantic Eyelashes ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

If two of your favourite things were combined how would you feel about it? Happy? Confused as hell? How about so ecstatic your insides could burst with happiness because that, my friends, is how I'm feeling right about now as I have literally just found out that there are Disney eyelashes in the world! Like oh my goodness I know others probably do know about these but hey... being late to the party is my thing ヾ(^^ゞ) as soon as I saw these beautiful lashes... something inside of me clicked... something in my mind telling me that I must get my hand on some of these beauties no matter what the consequences so it is now officially my plan to get a few of these into my collection

Finding these to purchase online was seriously a struggle but finally perseverance prevailed and the only place to purchase online for now is DreamV and I have heard that you can order for overseas shipping on this site... unless there is another DreamV that others talk about! Anyway if I have to use a shopping service or twist a friends arm to get these... so be it!

This line of particular lashes have been split into two categories; Sweet Eye and Sexy Eye where the Sweet Eye is a gorgeous natural brown colour whilst the Sexy Eye sticks to the ink black colour. Has anyone ever had experience with natural coloured/brown lashes before? I've never tried it myself before so never had any personal experience... so maybe more reasons to get them? Wow I am digging myself a massive hole here (_ _ll)

I'm actually rather disappointed that the packaging only has Daisy Duck on two of them... I'd love to see some more with Daisy Duck as in honesty, I actually prefer her to Minnie Mouse. It would be so lovely to see this brand of lashes over here in the UK or on a site that has easy access to purchasing for overseas buyers and not limited to a certain audience etc.

♡ The Saem Snail Lavender Sleep Mask ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

I'm not going to lie... the title of this product review is a little uneasy... but this product is actually pretty darn good for something that sounds so... nasteh! I had been in the market for a sleeping mask for months and months before I finally decided on this one, what really sold it to me is the fact that it's lavender as it's one of my (many) favourite scents.

Doesn't it actually look rather cute? I know that The Saem have some rather wonderful packaging when it comes to their... snail extract (?) range as you can see here with their hand creams. What I like the most about this cream is that it's a really nice thick cream... not like a usual watery based one that we tend to get over here in England (then again in England we actually don't have sleep masks just normal night cream and day cream) and so thus when applying you get quite a nice layer onto your skin without feeling like it's disappeared ASAP!

I do apologise for this picture on the right... I decided to take pictures AFTER I started using this cream... d'oh! It's a shame that I've almost finished this sleep mask actually... I'm definitely going to have to invest in another pot!

Pros
↑↑ lovely smell and pretty packaging
↑↑ get a lot for your money
↑↑ lasts quite a long time (even after using it practically every single night)
↑↑ helps clear up and soothe acne

Cons
↑↑ it gets everywhere... like on your pillow when you're sleeping... especially if you move around a lot like I do!

Overall Verdict; ★★★★★
I would reccomend this to anyone who is in the market for a sleep mask, even with the fact that there is snail mucus stuff in it but that shouldn't bother people because it's not like it is actually pure snail mucus you know? It is extremely helpful for dry skin and it's just the best one for me in my eyes and I don't think I'll ever go to another one (despite the fact I actually do have another branded sleep mask in my cupboard...)

♡ ETUDE HOUSE Happy Tea Time Milk Tea Face Cleanser ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

I am such a massive fan of cleansing creams... at one point I swear I had about ten of them in my facial care baskets! Luckily I've used most of them up and I'm now down to my last four. One of them being 'Happy Tea Time' facial cleaner by Etude House in 'Milk Tea' and quite possibly one of my absolute favourites to date. There are three different kinds of cleansers in this range; milk tea, lemon tea and aloe tea, I have only tried the milk tea but I'm ready and raring to get the other two to see how they compare to this one.

The first thing I love about this product is the packaging... most of the time Etude House makes the most divine packaging for their products and this one is so simple it stands out to me. The tiny details on the cap is whimsically charming and the colouring matches what you're given so that's all that is needed.

The cream inside is really rather thick... almost like a moisturiser crossed with a face mask. I liked how instant this cream was, making my skin really so so so soft after the first application that I only need you use it once a day instead of the usual twice when I do my skin care routine after I've woken up and before I go to bed. I actually use this in the morning as I wear a sleep mask during the night and I made an error on using this before sleeping with the sleep mask and it just made my skin feel extremely oily and slick ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ

Pros
↑↑ Works pretty much after first application
↑↑ Lovely smell
↑↑ Lasts an amazingly long time
↑↑ Great price for the amount you're given

Cons
↑↑ Makes your skin feel extremely oily if you use too much
↑↑ Tastes really disgusting if you accidentally get some in your mouth...

Overall Verdict: ★★★★★
This products will probably become my all time ultimate cleansing cream out of all the ones I have tried when trying to find a good one. I like how you can get others instead of sticking with just one boring kind and the fact that it's only $4 online (I got mine from koreadepart.com) it is so so so good if you have a budget to stick with.

♡ Returning To My Childhood ♡

みなさん、こんにちは!

Happy October everyone! Gosh how is it October already though? Only a few more weeks left until Halloween and even though my family have never celebrated Halloween I'm kind of excited about it this year for some reason... plus there are only three weeks left until Sapphire is down to stay for a whole week again! Seeing her back at the beginning of the year feels like an eternity more than anything... the worst part of our friendship is being so far away from each other and being so busy with work that we can barely make to either/or each others houses to spend time before I move abroad.

Anyway; I've sadly caught another chest infection... it's nothing new to me as I catch about 5 or 6 per year since I'm pretty much vulnerable in the lung department. The main buggers about catching these infections is that I can't exercise as I get breathless extremely quickly and the coughing fits keeping me awake most of the night so cranky me all in all! One plus about catching the infection is that I'm entitled to catch up on movies and dramas that I've fallen behind on and this time around I decided to revisit my childhood and watch films that came out during the 90s (except for 'The Secret of Nimh' as that actually was released back in 1982... and 'An American Tale' was released back in 1986)

Don't you just love nostalgia trips back to your childhood? I simply adore stuff from the 80s and 90s because... well some things were just better back then... even though I was actually born in 1989 so I can't say anything about the 80s in all honesty but I was brought up on 80s music / films / television shows etc and I do remember most of the 90s as well. What was your favourite thing about your childhood?
